Deciding to reach out is often the hardest part

About me

A young man with short dark hair, light skin, and stubble, smiling slightly at the camera. He is wearing a dark green button-up shirt with the top button open. The background is outdoors with blurred trees and soft light, creating a bokeh effect.

I'm Ed, a clinical psychologist offering telehealth sessions across Australia. I work with people navigating life’s difficulties and those who are wanting to understand themselves more deeply.

I'm also a meditation teacher and former wilderness guide. I believe the most effective therapy combines genuine human connection with the leading evidence-based approaches and that no two people need the same approach.

"The wound is the place where the light enters you.”

How I work

Telehealth Psychology

I draw on a range of approaches — including Schema Therapy, ACT, EMDR and IFS — adapting how I work to the person in front of me. Sessions are 55 minutes via Zoom.

Fees

Large rocks on a sandy beach with seaweed, with bushes and trees in the background, and the sun setting on the horizon.

Sessions are $225, with a Medicare rebate of $145.25 available through a GP mental health care plan — bringing the out-of-pocket cost to $79.75. Concession spots available.
